The Underworld Thirst of Trees is a queer katabasis. A lowering into the root-inhabited dark where identities dissolve, mingle and reemerge. Its 70 short poems blow across a landscape that is ravaged by climate collapse but is everywhere illuminated by the resistant energies that thrive in the cracks. It is a paean to the natural contours of queer confusion and the wilderness inside each one of us that evades legibility.
